My First Day in the UK: A Mix of Exhaustion and New Experiences
Let me share my experience of Day 1 in the UK. After going through immigration around 3 PM, we finally made it to our temporary place. For the first three days, we stayed in an Airbnb in Harrow on the Hill.
As soon as we landed, I felt the cool breeze and, after the long flight, I was completely exhausted. My journey included a layover in Dubai, where I had to switch terminals. It was my very first flight, and I felt so confused and tense. Everything seemed different and a bit overwhelming, especially since I didn’t know anyone there. Still, I managed to navigate through the chaos and finally landed in the UK.
In the evening, we decided to step out. After a tiring day, all I had eaten was a bun, so my husband took me to McDonald's. To my frustration, he insisted I try a burger there. Honestly, I wasn't thrilled about it, but I didn’t have many options, so I just managed to eat it. The weather was cloudy, adding to the overall feeling of tiredness.
That was my first day in the UK—exhausting, confusing, but also a step into a whole new world of experiences!
